Nov 2019- 9 Months Results Got a Car with No License- I did end up getting a car, it’s a huge difference from what I am used to. It’s a 2006 Chevy Impala with a remote start. It’s not really what I wanted but i feel that my dad (deceased) had some influence over it....lol
It’s basically a replica of the car he had when he passed and it only had 87,623 miles on it. I have a car payment which is lower than what I had, and it runs good. I cracked up when the guy told me what I got approved for. I got full coverage and renters insurance. So I’m going to make it work. I am going to have to make more than what I currently make in order to be comfortable but I’m going to make it work for now.
You would be so proud of me. I have not caved, and he hasn’t been over since the last time I told you about. I’ve been kind of avoiding contact with him. Lol. I finally got my couch so it’s coming together slowly but surely. I hope all is well with you. After I’m done paying some stuff off like these damn payday loans ( just 1) I’m going to start working towards my license. I’m getting it together for sure. Oct 2019- 1 Month Job Results with Products- "Can I say blessed, amazing, thankful. The past two weeks changes in a positive way started to happen. I felt that I needed to make a change, so during the 2 weeks’ time span I spoke with my program manager to ask if there are other positions within the company that I can apply to in my job field. He asked me when would I be looking to make a move? I said around November 1st if possible. My manger told me to hold on and let him take a look at what is out there and he would get back to me soon. Because he did not want me to look elsewhere. However, I heard back from him a week later. Letting me know that he was sending my resume to the customer along with a few other resume's to be viewed by that particular customer. Not knowing at the time that the customer was some people that I have worked for before, about 3 years ago. When the hiring manager saw my name that was it. They said we want her and when can she start? When I told my PM, I would like to start on Monday, Oct 21st that was it. I received about two phone calls from the COS and the DDC. They express to me how happy they were to have me come back to work with them. This is a true saying, 'why you should never burn bridges'. Because you just never know when you will have to return or would like too. Speaking of that before I departed my last job I had a meeting with the branch manager to let her know that there is strong possibility that I may leave and I wanted to be as open and honest with her so this would not come as a surprise and I wanted to thank her for the opportunity to add this as a part of my resume and my life journey. Truly this was not a coincident for sure this was a part of the plan, it was meant for me to experience and see what I've seen. She had tears in her eyes and she gave me a hug and said in a tearful voice thank you to me for talking with her and that I taught her two things about herself that she will make adjustments to right away. Oct 2019- Self Love Consultation -" Since our last conversation things in the employment area of my life which is improving somewhat. I haven’t been offer a position quite yet, but I have gotten phone calls and emails from recruiters. What I have learned over this whole process is patience and knowing I’m worth being wanted. In the past, I probably would be crumbing and feeling depress at the way the situation is coming. However, I am hopefully because I have recruiters contacting me and not the other way around. Sept 2019- Self Love Initial Consultation- " After having our 1st conversation session I must say it left me a bit overwhelmed and full. I didn’t realize how keeping feelings bottled up carried such weight internally. Through our talk it was brought to my attention just how important self love is to ones well being. In my walk of regaining self love I’m learning it is okay to put me first and to do what is best for me. Most importantly defining what makes me happy and everything else will fall into place. In one of my conquest to help me gain my self love is finding my stability/independence/confidence. Sept 2019- Initial Consultation with Products-The past couple of weeks was interesting. I started a new job the new people that I would be working with seemed really nice and welcoming to me. The supervisor started me off with a lot of training and testing. I was told that I would not be able to start the real work until the 12 classes was completed and passed with a satisfactory score. I said okay if this is your policy. I overheard some of the other employees say that they didn’t have to do any of the classes. I did not question anything. But I felt that this was a way to weed me out. I just did as I was told. After about two weeks I was finished with all classes with passing marks. After that it was the computer system problems etc. this held me up some too. Then the next week the supervisor wanted to train me. None of the systems I needed was at my desk, so I had to sit with her at her desk. I found that to be really odd. I was told by the person that referred me that a lady in the department was really good at the job and it would be nice if this lady could train me. However it didn’t work out that way. I had a meeting with the supervisor; she asked me how I felt after being there for a few weeks. I told her that I felt as if was not given the best start. First of all I was given 12 classes to complete that was overwhelming to start with and when she started to train me she was all over the board stopping starting and just everywhere. I felt rushed etc. I can’t learn that way, too many distractions my supervisor was on the phone a lot, talking to everyone that stopped by. I understand that she has a lot of administrative duties that may have her all over the place, but I can’t understand why she was reluctant to let the other lady train me. I have been praying for a change to come and it did. The supervisor and another employee had to go out of town for training on something else. I was relieved the two of them would be out of the office. I felt as if I was being setup to fail. There spirits didn’t settle now and still doesn’t. BINGO the lady she really didn’t want to train me had to step in for one week. Last week was the best week I had since I arrive there. The lady worked with me and I was able to get it and understand. She also told me that she saw everything that was happening to me, she just couldn’t understand why and it really was not fair. But it worked out any way. I really want to continue training with this lady and not the supervisor. The office had a different feeling; it was quiet and very calming and peaceful. I will continue to press on and do my best. When I met Emma’s daughter I felt comfortable speaking with her. Things have started to change in a positive direction. I am thankful that I was able to talk to her and explained what I was dealing with and how I felt. Before I spoke to Emma’s daughter I was thinking of leaving my job. Sept 2019- " Where do I began. I’ve been having a major hard time finding work in the area where I live currently. I’m living in northern Virginia and every job has been tailored towards military and those who currently hold a government clearance. Many of the positions that I have applied for I had all of the qualifications but for some reason I’m not getting selected for even an interview. I’ve been feeling totally depressed, uncertain, confused, and incompetent. I’m not a person who looks down but I’m totally not myself. I’m use to having my own and being able to stand on my own but that’s not the case now. I’ve been married to my husband for almost five years and we’ve been through a lot. We lost two babies at 7 months and 6 months pregnant which totally made me feel like I wasn’t capable of having a baby. In 2017 we were blessed with a baby boy. In my marriage since and a little before it is a very overbearing mother-in-law; now everything is not totally her fault because my husband allows it. My husband and mother-in-law relationship is very very strange to me; I’ve even said to both of them that he and I are married but it’s more like they’re the husband and wife. I honestly feel I’m only here to produce a child and they do everything else; its that sick to me. It’s one thing to love your child but this is on a whole other level. My husband is a good person it’s just that momma boy thing that is a issue. I think at times she wants my child to be like that with her. She has no boundaries and respect for me period. So along with not being able to find work and in-law overstepping I don’t feel like myself at all. It is my hope I receive help to gain employment and become self efficient for me and my child sake. June/ July 2019 During the "Chaka Calm Bath Cleansing" I read a very powerful prayer and allowed my heart to be fully open to hear from the Most High. July 2019- 6 Month Results from an Out of State Client- "I have been working with Emma’s Daughter since February 2019 and I can honestly say things have gotten a lot better for me.
